1. Sleep Well

Inadequate and interrupted sleep may result in dark circles under the eyes. Sleep well for 7-9 hours every night. Keep away from the reasons that prevent you from quality sleep.

Drugs, alcohol and coffee at bed time can adversely affect your sleep.

Raising the head of your bed at night can help prevent fluids from accumulating around your eyes as you sleep.

2. Treat Your Allergies

Allergies may be the cause of your skin discoloration around the eyes. They trigger the release of histamines in the body, which can cause swelling.

You may have seasonal allergy, or allergy from some food, some chemicals and vapors in your environment or gluten intolerance.

3. Treat Your Nasal Congestion

  3. You could apply an ice cube wrapped in soft cloth instead of teabags.

Mash a uncooked potato to make its puree and apply on your closed eyes. Wash it after half an hour with warm water.
